Paul and Mae are in the studio with Lorrie Wilson, Co-Chair of United Way's Women in Philanthropy, talking about how the community can support foster youth in the Sacramento area.

United Way's Women in Philanthropy has partnered with Sacramento County to help collect items needed for the Foster Youth Emancipation Basket program. Many foster youth emancipating from the system do not have necessary household items to get started on their own, and we want to help make that transition a little bit easier.

HOW TO DONATE:

Purchase items on your own and drop off at United Way (10389 Old Placerville Road, Sacramento, 95827) no later than April 20.

In celebration of the towel drive, United Way's Women in Philanthropy is hosting the annual spring social on April 20 for members, supporters and anyone interested in Women in Philanthropy and our work to support local foster youth.
